Fair comment Jer,think sites get bogged down with 2 many places to post so you end up trawling to get to where you want, which is ok if ur online at the time but can be a pain the next day.As for restricted access still think somethings should be kept away from the non contributing members,I personally will give any info going on fishing to any member but won't publish it all on the site :up22:eg I wont tell the chuckle twins where the biggest billet are
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing

Well ,, Jer I Think The Crew Work Good Together, The Admin Work The Site And Look After It, The Mods Work With The Staff To Make It Good..
Moderate in Moderation, excessive use of moderator/admin powers creates a 'them and us' ....     Where On This Site Have You Seen This Happen,,.
It Is An Angling Site Not A Secret Society,
The Vip Section,,Is For The Serious Anglers To share There Exploits,,Catches..
Its Easy To Get In,,, Just Post,, Share Your Experiences,,, And Dont Forget..
                      THE PHOTOS,,,,                         ,,,,Mod,,,    ,,,,,,,BRI,,,,,,

Thinking about this one,,

Bare with me as I'm not criticising what you've done here only pointing out my opinion of forums as a whole not here, BSA, NESA, NEFishing etc specific , and importantly everyone's opinion differs.

to many sub forums are a pain, you miss half the information posted if another topic is started and its 2 days later before you realize you,v missed somit.
general sea discussion should cover as title says.
angling reports are as they are ,
no 5 star if you want someone to know of something PM them .5 star and sutch only causes them n us type attitude.
the forums should be open discussion where anything goes,so long as there's no personal attacks ,this should be monitored and edited asap.people do have opinions.
no advertising,be it pop ups or other forms ,members do not want them ,there's plenty information on the Internet if your looking for something ,or PM a member who may know.
this is a canny site not short on members but has a **** of members who post on a daily basis, give information freely, are trustworthy and contribute to the running of the site with suggestions to the admin .all our members seem to have a sense of humour which makes this site enjoyable, and that is the purpose of a forum.

this is my opinion only  and i dont care if anyone agrees with me. :cm1: :cm1: :cm1:
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.

This forum seems as thou its starting to pick up , a lot of new members , however a strong admin team is required , i have noticed on other forums especially the northeast based ones , seem as though they are dictated to by one man pushing is magazine and trying to fufill is eegomaniac tendancies , this man seems to get away with it , why you may ask , the threat of suing forums seem to do the trick and a few freebies and get your face in my magazine , if he was to join this forum he might allready be on or start taking a more active inerest , then i think it would be the death bell for this forum , tell him he isnt WELCOME and this forum will go from srength to strength

Here what your saying Tony, but no-one will dictate anything on here, anyone can join, sea angling correspondants, circus jugglers, butchers, bakers, candle stick makers........but in the main it will be mainly sea anglers who join for the craic, maybe learn abit about fishing, marks etc in the process, sure most will agree on here its a relaxed site and a good laugh, canny bunch of lads who post on here. The moment someone joins who breaks the rules consistently or causes trouble, then they can ferk off........dont think any one is out for any gain on the site, dont want my ugly mug in a magazine thats for sure :laugh20:
Please note this was not an official statement by ATNE :SCARED@:
It was just me blabbering on :GRINCH:
