im not allowed out fishing for now or casting for that matter and the caretaker  only fishes in the light  so no idea how its going but if the last few years are owt to go by its had its first run , next one will be in the spring

30 fish limit down there now

once 30 fish are caught it stops fishing for months   :(
if in danger or in doubt run around and scream and shout

no sense of humour those port authorities, suprised the gare hasn't been shut off.Probably all the bird watchers would kick up too much fuss & the save the seal mob.Years ago when it was nationalised docks they had a fishing club

OBVIOUSLY THIS QUOTE IS MADE BY SOMEONE WHO HAS NO IDEA AS TO HOW THE PROM FISHES, FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS THIS HAS BEEN A EXCEPTIONAL MARK WHEN CONDITIONS ARE RIGHT, COMBINED WITH THE RIGHT BAIT AND THE ABILITY TO CAST IT OUT.
