That's canny good that, and takes some kahonies to stand up still.

When I was on ship during exercises I was milling about on the fo'csle (front part of ship) when one of the lads on watch started shouting at me from the wing of the bridge pointing out to sea, I turned just in-time to stare face on at a incoming Tornado that climbed slightly and hit burners at that moment, the sheer shockwave seemed to shut my nervous system down and I fell to the deck like a heap of s*** !
Could have been no more than 30ft over my head tops, probably closer to 20ft, the heat and shockwave are something indescribable.

At least it gave the pilot (who circled round and gave me a wave while I was getting back up) a good laugh as well as around a dozen of the crew.

at leuchers where my sons base in scotland has a yearly airshow,at he end of the runway theres an  area for the aircraft cordoned off from the public but is just 20 feet from the aircraft ,f16 ,tonkas,f15,all the fast jets park and start there take off from here .as they are limited to the speed they can go over the airfeild they fly just under the speed of sound as long as there heading in the direction of the sea .the noise and the shear power of the planes is breath taken.
when the red arrows landed all 10 jets turned to park in this area and all the people who didnt have a clue were knocked sideways as the jet blast hit them, hats coats and everything that was loose was blown away.
iv got all this on video but cant work out how to download it as it comes up not compatable.
any clues how to put it up.
