Old north pier

Just been on the phone to Chris brother John he is fishing the old north pier he got down about 7.30am he has had a few small codling  and loads of small coalies.

Seen dave and skiny down there this morning good luck lads hope ya get a few out.

john has had a load of coalies out,some of them not a bad size, i blanked and so had skiny when i left him,hope he has picked something up,wind changed as soon as the tide turned coming straight from the east,,probably fish better on tonights tide,sure to shove some fish in,,there was supposed to be 5.5lb fish off ther last night one of the lads was saying,,good luck for later on eddie,,davy.....
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.

aye nowt to report except just after you left  dave ,with the tide turned i got another wolloping knock and pulled out a 3lb fish n managed to get this one in .you were just pulling out the car park as i got to me bag.never mind mate,. and the one i lost on the lift seemed to be a canny one also.












syke,got nowt lads and by 1/2 one give it up as a bad job,wind turned n was blowing all over and the tide pull was getting stronger by the minuite.mind its annoying that lift when the waters low ,it was a canny one that dropped off ,n thanks again for getting me gear back dave
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.
