Shields pier.

Hoping to go on south shields pier later about 5ish any one heard or seen anything come of there,  in fact anyone know if its open about an 3/4 hour drive from where i am.

Can't really help with that one mate I'm about the same dist away,but wouldn't have thought it would be open,you might be able to fish up to the gate.I'm sure one of the local lad's will give you some info .
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing

Try the first gate mate i think the water will be coming over the end and half way up.

Also give the brigade hut a go there was fish took there the other day.

al bet he climed round the gate to fish on there ,not worth the risk,especially if ya not local.
other options for next time ya down mate are the walkway (snaggy)mill dam (near town centre),behind the little haven hotel(part of the groine)or the angle(between the ferry landing and the walkway.
always worth asking before ya go fishing if any lads are fishing that day .
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.
