Using up yesterdays bait

Had a wonder down the gare about 3 this afty,couple of lads fishing already said nowts happening.So after a couple of casts coming back stripped with no sign of crab knocks I changed to a scratching rig and the answer came straight out a whiting about 3-4 inches long.The place was full of them any attempt with a big bait just got wiped out.The lad next to me also pulled in the smallest dab I've seen brought in on a hook,about 1-1/2" across the back on a 2-0 hook with a big lug bait.Final result 10 whiteys,biggest 6" and 3 weevers (suitably dispatched,sorry to any friends of the earth members)

Least you never blanked Trev,well done,sometimes its hard to tell difference between a tiny ting and a weever,been a few lads stung by them thinking they are small ting,good luck on your next sesh mate,thanks for the report.  trink22
