Horden beach today
« on: September 09, 2010, 08:55:47 pm »
Arranged to meet Chris at Horden today, first time I've fished it so after a tour of Horden-blackhall I eventually found white van man at the pre-arranged spot.Parked up and headed for the beach, cracking sea on it looked fish all the way.
Started fishing about one o'clock, had a cracking bite about third cast, slack lined and headed for the beach, got it as far as the last breaker then lost it.We fished over h/w til about half six,I managed to land a billet and Chris followed up with a small codling so the blank was saved.A fair number of knocks but couldn't connect with anthing else.
This looks a cracking spot to fish, will be back again for another go and Eddies right the walk back up is hard going. :up22:

Well done lads  :dr2:,saved the blank, like ya say Trev its a cracking spot to fish, plenty of ground to cover, only fished it a couple of times, only had dabs, whiting from the place but the big tossers always seem to do well each season from the place.
