Trip to the Tyne
« on: September 03, 2010, 10:16:15 pm »
Had a run up and fished the walkway with Chris,4 til 8-30.Pretty quite for the first few hours, apart from Chris winning the boat fishing competition, but he did'nt manage to land the boat :laugh20:
Then about 7 things started to pick up,Chris was first with a fine Dab,probably near the 1 1/2 lb mark.Followed by a double bag of billet on a pennel, then I reeled in 2 on a pennel. There was a steady stream of billet for the rest of the session,no sign of cod until the last cast when Chris got the nights top double a small codling and a jelly fish,he managed to drop the codling off on the lift but landed the jelly fish :up22: topman.
All in all a good nights fishing shame the cod did'nt want to play,it'll probably fish well later in the night.A guy was telling us thirty cod were taken of the groyne last night. :fish:
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing
