Braid on multipliers

Does any of you lads use braid on multiplier reels i.e casting reels?

Thinking about using it on one of my multiplier this winter season that's all.

it can be used but expect problems first you need a hard backing on spool ie thin line,then tape over top leaving a bit exposed to tie braid on and lastly a mono shockleader otherwise if you use braid leader it bites in to underlying braid and causes big problems ,on the whole just not worth it my opion .

I know a couple of lad's who use it on small bait caster reels,fishing plugs but not worth it imo for beachcasting.It's a fixed spool thing for me.
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing
