Not very descriptive?

Describe plastic bait holder?

Carp anglers use plastic looking bags (PVA Bags) that melt when they come into contact with water, you can also get PVA string/tape to bind bait or whatever on, again once in contact with water it will start to melt away, takes a few seconds easily long enough for bait to be cast and hit the bottom, only downside is if the bait itself is wet (watery) then it will melt the PVA before you get a chance to cast.

I have something like this which were give to me years ago. They are called Shinglemac sure bait holder. They're plastic orange tubes with barbs running up them and run about 2 - 3 inches up the line from your hooks eye. Used for stopping lug or rag from slipping.

Ideal for clipped down rigs-pulleys-fixed pennels-portsmouth/loop rigs-wishbone pulleys etc.

All i use on my own rigs but been making rigs for the shop just with the normal weight & bait clips.  Each to their own i suppose.

The impacts slide onto the main rig body,then another weight link is added for the weight but some anglers just use a weight & bait link in one as can be seen below;

Usual weight & bait link;

Impact shield then a weight link for the weight;

Are these the eyes your on about for the weights?
