were to start, jarrow helipad/police launch area.can be snaggy but if you hit a spot of clear ground you will get canny catches .snaggy to around 20 yards.c
church bank, clear all round except in the right hand corner.you can see why at low tide.flounder/colies codlin.
the mesh, just around the corner of church bank, fish at low tide, again you,ll see why. as above catches.
marina/boat club.not much room here maybe 3 people max.clean ground between the bouys, good cast to mid river .as church bank catches.
marina the grass banks snaggy to 50 yards but can be productive.fish at high tide or climb down off the grass.same catches.
marina/2 cranes looking up from the marina towards gateshead you can see the cranes but is not accessable by car .park at the barrier and walk down the bank.2 jettys there one concrete the other wood .caqn be snaggy but a cast mid river will keep clear of snaggs ,fast retrieve when reeling in ,good cod to 4lb.
all these within 2 miles of each other along the riverside road.
when i can i will send you a pm with photos and directions.
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.
