just ordered rag and lug so need a decent spot

any1 tried milldam ? through the fence few years since i fished there dont know if you can still get in but used to catch a few there

The Pedestrian tunnel isn't too bad ground for snags, the walkway and all the lower tyne isn't even funny on big tides (which we've just had), and even in the best of conditions requires a good cast to get clear of the kelp at the sides.

never tried the predestion for years it was all boats last time i was down

Milldam is worth a go mate ya never know or why not try shields pier or the big beach
ya might pick aup a bass. good luck where ever ya end up.

never enjoyed the pier 2 many people and 2 many rocks always seem to loose alot of gear

the walk way has had about 40 weights in 2 weeks from me and my mate

To tell ya the truth i have never lost any gear at the walkway.

you must get a decent spot and know when to fish as i just fish all day

yeah i know few more weeks and i should get the hang of it

only been fishing the alst 2 weeks and before then it was about 7 years ago
