they will say sorry its not going to happen until they can raise funding to do the work ( never in other words)
im involved with what they are doing at hendon and fighting to get them to do a proper and safe job there for which i get abuse and threats as some people get the wrong idea that we are fighting to get access to the prom closed and cant change there minds to the truth when its told to them again and again , all i get is "leave it or they will get upset and close the prom" . when if left to there own plans we can see what happens when no one fights to keep things open they close access for cheap option and it cuts down the liability the council faces , salterfern access gone for ever , ryhope village access gone maybe for ever maybe to come back when Northumbria water find out what the council did to there property with out permission
only what happened on monday might give a group a lever to get them opened again but only if some one can be arsed to fight them and keep going , ryhope fishing club would be a prime agent for this but they have done nothing , its not up to us fighting for hendon beach as we dont live in that area its up to some one from ryhope to step up to the plate
