lines in the water by 10.00 oclock down the walkway,fishing next to a bloke and his grandson,who already had fish in the bag(2 codling)so it was looking promising.10 minutes in and he pulled in another fish,oh oh checkes me bait,crabed off ,so rebaits and puts them out again.
well 12.00 oclock comes and goes and this bloke had 2 more out and his grandson had a few smaller colies out, me sweet fa.tried cocktails ,short n far casts,flapper rigs ,pully rigs ,NOWT not even an sniff of a fish.so by 12.30 packed up n went to church bank hoping to save a blank.
young robbie was there with his mates so i stayes in the centre away from there carry on.between 7 or 8 of them it looked like they all had fish out by 1.30 and i was getting a bit depressed when over the far rod went,whatever it was it was giving a good account for itsel,not the biggest of flounder and in my haste to take a photo forgot to change it back from black n white to colored,and also forgot to measure it.
by 2 oclock id used me bait so off home for a sarni..
bait crab,maccy, rag, mussle.flatty caught on rag only.
