early start this morning,well 6 o"clock off the beach is early for me,,struggled to get off the beach as the swell was a bit too much to launch [some very wet people this morning,hahaha] 1st time i"ve seen people swimming at that time in the morning,,with there clothes on as well,,any way the fishing,,still plenty makerel about with every boat catching some,,a good few codling caught but nothing of any size alot around the 2lb mark,,match was won with a heaviest fish of 3.5lb caught by myself,,when i gutted it,,it had 6 small hardback crabs in it [anyone had any sucess with hardbacks??]sorry no photos,,should have took some of the swimmer,hahaha,,all for now,,parrot.. :surf:

not far out at all chris..just off the rock edges,,still plenty fish about for a change,,davy..

The cod we've had lately have all been stuffed with little hardbacks and the odd squat lobster still.
Well done though dave, I think your 3 fish would have taken 1st 2nd and 3rd as there wasn't much else of size weighed in.
