First one this year
« on: July 27, 2010, 09:53:40 pm »
Fished a rock mark close to the gare tonight 1hr before high and 2hrs after managed this on about the 5th cast

Caught it on a jointed Rappala about 18 yds out,as you can see one of it's mates decided to have a gob full on the way in.Got a cracking hook-up next cast but I'd slackened the drag off to much and lost the fish farting about.I know it 's not a world beater but it's well over size and the first one on a plug this year so it was always heading for the pan :laugh20:

Just scoffed it Skinny,it was spot on.Had another 3 hr sess tonight  2 before H/W and 1 after no luck tonight, tried some lures out I got today from a lad down at Whitby.Storm jointed thundersticks, cracking action they will catch when the fish are about.I've had terns come low and look at plugs before but it's the first time I've had them diving and hitting the plug,so the action must be good.
Anyway we had a good few hrs,on the rocks with sea trout jumping within yards of us and the rain kept off.Tell you what when one off those trout erupted out of the water about 5yds away (and not expecting it) I nearly crapped meself. :cm1:
