The Weekend

Any of you boat lad's fish the weekend,it looked perfect yesterday.Quite a few boats getting launched from Redcar about 9-30,the sea was as flat as a fart.
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing

Yeah we were out Saturday, sea was pretty good, just a big lazy swell rolling in, was pleasant not plagued by maky as much, we only had a short session but still had a mixed bag of wrasse, ting, coalies, maky and a few codlin (to 4 and half lb ungutted I'd guess).

We had to get in before airshow crowds started gathering though.

Sounds like a good mornings fishing,never thought about the airshow,bet the roads a bit busy when that's on.
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing

Seen loads of boats on trailors last night on the way home,i imagine they were out to see the airshow as opposed to fishing,well done on gettinhg into the fish Jer,seems like theres more cod about in the summer than the Winter ;)

never got out trev,,a m8 of mine had ran over his moorings in the south dock so said i would give him a hand,,we had to get a diver to get the rope off the prop and the 2 mooring bouys he went over,,he"s been lucky not to bend anything,,nice boat it is though,,42ft carvel,,will be ideal for the a.t.n.e. boat meet and a lot cheaper too,,will try to sort something out with him before the weather turns   :up: :up: :up:
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.

Seen a few pics on the tele there was loads of boats out nowt better than sitting there chillin with ya fishing rod watch plans go buy but if it was ME i would be look at the planes reflections throw the water lol  :cm1: :cm1: :cm1:

eye dave nowts been said about a boat meet for a while i though people had given up on the idea though.me im not here onfrom the 2nd of september until the 10th.
good on ya for getting out jer,few fish to keep ya entertained between planes.
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.

Chris was going to sort that out mate but we have been busy at work we had a few names down i know how much will he charge like Dave for a trip out i will put me name down but if it is a bit lumpy i will not be there sea sickness and all that.

He's been lucky there Davy,you're right about them carvels must be one of the best boats going ,be worth a couple of quid that mate.

i know some lads are stuggling money wise so im not bothered how much or the reputation of the boat ,i feel its about time some of us got together and being on a boat we,ed all be in the same place.
