Got a phone call about dinner time asking if i was in the answer was Yes
next thing 10 mins later knock on the door Chris's brother John with a bag
of rainbows he had been up Derwent for a few hours he said he had a canny
day he sure did here they are.

He phoned me about 9 mate to say he had five fish out,sounds like he had a canny day,what size was the biggest,that fat one lookds about 4lb..............i can feel one of Julies fish pies in the making hide

of all the things iv lost,

They don't look the leanest of trout, well if you enjoy the taste of mud enjoy ;)

I'm not a lover of rainbow trout from still waters unless they are wintered (once wintered they are usually a much leaner fish and their tails grow back).
