The Elusive Bass
« on: July 24, 2010, 11:07:14 am »
Todays thrilling episode 4-30 til 7-30 plugging on the rocks near Redcar tried a variety of shallow divers and poppers, sea looked good still a bit of surf on in places. Not a sniff.Change of plan off to the gare to float fish over the kelp and rocks8-00 til 9-30 using ragworm (is it just me or does anybody else struggle with farmed ragworm) result one small billet to save the blank. :fish:

I much prefer the dug stuff from the rivers, but all the same farmed does catch alot of fish,at least you never blanked Trev, nice one, thanks for report mate sure you'll get them bass sooner rather than later.   trink22

Never had a prob with farmed rag like Trev might just be the fish are not feeding or they are feeding other things.
My blog feel free to take a look.

use farmed all the time (cant get fresh dug)you seem to get a bigger worm.
1 small fish is better than blanking mate ,hard lines on the bass.
of all the things iv lost,
only my mind needs to be found.
