Shields pier
« on: April 30, 2013, 03:43:41 pm »
Got along the pier about 10ish set 2 rods up one close
in and the other further out to see if i could wangle a
plaice out the first hours was slow then it was a dab fest
with the odd flounder amongst them no plaice but it was
a canny day for it and plenty of sport all fish returned to
fight another day there wasnt much coming in only small
stuff from the end.

biggest fish of the day.

Also got a few double shot.

Might wait a bit longer before trying for the plaice again
so i think seaham pier will be the place to go see if i can
wangle a doggie and thornback out.
