Bait digging
« on: July 19, 2010, 11:27:18 pm »
Went to do a bit of casting practice tonight on the beach, coming off I clocked some lug casts that didn't look 2 bad,so binned the rod and got he fork out.Turned out to be medium sort of size worms, now where I normally dig you can get some real big blow lug but you're talking 5/6 forkfuls for every worm. They're always deep/some times deeper, this spot tonight I was lifting a worm every forkfull, now thats what I call a result.

Where I normally dig Eddie they're deep and go even deeper in the winter but they are good worms and worth the effort in the winter.
