rod help needed.

I was fishing down runswick last night never got out any way
when i was cleaning me rod down i came across a bit of carbon
coming away from me rod is there any way to fix this plus i
don't know how long its been like this.

here's a few pics of the bit i am on about it is circled in red.







Will it weaking the rod its in between the 5th and 6th rings on the tip
i was casting a big bait a 7oz lead out and it didn't feel any different
the rod is a RT axellerator.

Any ideas lads.

theres a lad called stan on NESA said he will fix it for nowt very kind of him but i
will drop him a few quid if he does it any way he said run some super glue or 5
min apoxy on it stick it back down and high build over the split.

more like 120 quid trev wish it was only 20 quid cos i would have

Its sorted gordon took it to a lad tonight he phoned me an hour
later to say it was done and ready to pick up so i am picking it
up in the morning and going to test it out on thursday morning
along ryhope going to fish the manholes.

Aye thats what i was thinking try and get a last chance cod.

its the outer layer of carbon so it shouldnt weaken the rod
plus in the pics it looks worse that it is it will belike losing a
arm if that snaps.  :lol2: :lol2:
