Trev and Ed's arctic expedition
« on: March 11, 2013, 04:41:05 pm »
The theory,
1)With massive sea's Runswick bay should fish well.
2)Snow forcast but only the odd light shower.
3)Wind of the sea, Light so casting shouldn't be a problem.
4)Tide ebbing so weed shouldn't be a problem.
The reality,
Sea was that big it was getting over the bar at runswick,
The snow was pretty much non stop getting worse all the time
Wind was blasting in with the snow squalls
Weed was held inshore, not massive but annoying

Anyway lads we lasted about just under 3 hrs then rapped it in, both of us blanked (tho Ed caught a nice carrier bag) .Apoligies to Ed as it was a bad shout I should have called it off earlier.   :bang:
