Any of yous lads been out and about fishing.

Hi Ed,
me and the boyo were at the glass centre between 4.00am and 9.00 am this morning fishing over the high tide.All we got were a load of small tommy codling just like last week.they were taking all baits;-rag,lug,mackie,and squid and all combinations of cocktails. Had a rod with a big squid bait on a pennel but only the crabs were interested.Got all the tiddlers on a one up one down rig.had to give it up at 9.00 as the ebb tide was ripping away and the weed made the lines like a string of bunting.I've never known as many small cod in the river hope it bodes well for the future.

it is nice to here about the small tommys it can only be a good sign.
