the latest official report follows,,,
Match 2 saw the usual Sunday weather appearing again with rough seas and persistent rain in the afternoon making it a little uncomfortable and restricted the venues that were fishable. Most headed for the river either to Old Hall, Spurn and Hull Docks but one member went on a magical mystery tour of the Northern Holderness beaches!! Most managed to bring fish back to the scales with Whiting and Flounders making up all of the catches, one very unusual fish caught was a small Sea Trout by Ryan Hewitt at Spurn. Winner on the day probably was a little fortunate that after his recent operation could not cast properly so decided on some ?flattie bobbing? and boy was this the correct decision . Nick Marshall amassed 31 fish for a winning weight of 9.18kg . Runner up was Dave Hart who had a mixed 15 fish catch of 4.56kg, There was a tie for 3rd place, Kev Hewitt who by his standards had a mediocre day ( I think too busy trying to count his 12 fingers he allegedly has !!), with him was Scott field who had a good bag of whiting which included first two biggest fish from Old Hall.
