SOUTH SHIELDS PIER 21 oct first light

well hit the pier for 5.30am started off fishing south east corner not a sniff so move round to the middle nothing biting so decided to hit the smal wall even though the tide was ripping in. low and behold first cast a canny yting back out agian and strait in to my first cod then my m8 steve moved over and casted out bang in to a cod l managed 2 sized cod and a canny yting steve had 4 coddling out but as soon as the tide slacken off that was it stuck it out 1.30pm nothing pretty bad there was a few anglers on but nothing happening my biggest was 2lb steve's biggest was around 2lb1/2 lug and rag did the damage nowt on the crab
