Got a bag of Indian tiger prawns in the bait freezer, going to give a try in the winter, they're the same colour as our cooked prawns, been recomended as a good bait,so I'll give them a go.
I'm not a complete idiot there's bits missing

had a cod along dawdon blast about 4 or 5 yrs ago 8lb or 9 lb did,nt wiegh it. first time i had tried indoniesian warm water prwans.
put prawn on after shelling it about an inch of ragworm on 2nd cast got the fish.

i find the best prawns are from brookes at the harbour warm water freshwater prawns take them down in a food flask and what you dont use put back in freezer.

best investment for me is the food flasks  less waste saving you cash.

i dont use the large ones the ones i get from brookes are headless and shell is on body they peel easy as i say just ask for the warm water  freshwater prawns.
think i got ten or more for 2.50 pounds other day .

i keep away from the peeled ones not the same got some of them from iceland thro them out.

used to be able to get them frm the likes of asda.tesco etc but dont see them there anymore not the ones i like. as i say brookes at the harbour has the proper ones not dear also imo.

in case i forgot to say they are frozen frm brookes hit and miss bait possibly.
