tyne
« on: August 27, 2012, 04:26:52 pm »
fished the tyne on friday night but very slow with my mate getting a small lobster and a couple of whiting.  then i was into a codling at 38cm and my mate 10min later pulled this in at bang on 3lb

not much happened after that for the rest of the night.

last night few of us fished tynemouth pier and it was very slow there to. i pulled in a codling at 36cm and the rest of the lads had a few whiting between them and a couple of lobsters.  but the best fish of the night was mine, second one this year from NE coast

last few weeks i've had few sized codling so hope its a good sign to come

Good report steve nice one,,looks like the cod will hit the northern beaches first.
Us on holderness are just waiting for ,,,,,something to happen,,,,,,.
As usual the cod will wait for the fresh water to leave the humber  only then will
  we get the cod                    ,,,Bri,,,
Thinking about this one,,
