crest is the stiffest out of the carbon metal range of rods, very nice casting rod and easy to cast, will handle rough ground no bother. was fishing next to jim on the pier last week and his was showing cracking bites from whiteys at a canny distance out.

l love my crest a good allround rod and nice and easy for a stait over the head cast but its not every bodys cup of tea everybody taste differs l tryed a couple of century rods and found this one to be the one l felt comfy with ive used a greys shadow for 15years now and would'nt go past that till the crest came along if you see someone useing one ask if you can have a try most anglers l know will help you no bother as soon as l picked one up l knew it was the rod for me good luck  :RK222:
