Roker today
« on: January 27, 2011, 10:34:55 pm »
Myself and ed headed down to roker about 2...pier was still shut so went to old pier which was very quiet on the last of the ebb........roker pier opened about 4 so we legged it along there and set up on the roundhead, very quiet to start off with smaller fish pecking away at the baits......Come darkness the roundhead was full, coddy and stu turned up,then wolfy and kieth and trev turned up aswell....The north east corner fished really well a steady stream of codling all around the 3lb mark and some bigger........me and ed however fishing straight out of the end struggled to get into the cod,ed managed a one last chuck......i carried on my blanking spree..we went about 8 and the rest of the lads stayed down.....hopefully the fish moved round to the south east corner and a few more fish caught, canny few hours and a good laugh
