The spiles
« on: January 27, 2011, 08:06:56 am »
Myself and eddie headed down roker with high hopes which were quickly shattered when we seen the sea very little movement on and the pier was closed,so we decided to head south and ended up on the spiles, nice sea running looked perfect for a few codling, how wrong we were......used some cracking bait to catch nothing, baits coming back untouched, good craic as always and nice easy fishing out of the van :YHMAN:.......The el Blanko boys ride again :GRINCH:

Very unlucky chris mate. I thought you would have got a few out last nite as the conditions were perfect. There is always next time mate. I'm gonna try the pier tonight and see if i can get off the mark.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

2011 SPECIES CAUGHT:  Coalie x3(biggest 33.5cm), Rockling x6, Blenny x1, Flounder x1, Whiting x1
