We missed the fish

well with a few codling getting caught on the holderness coast a few of us
had a dodge down to hornsea Chris pick me up sunday morning about 6am
headed for coddy and the wolfy car full off we went got down there about
9.15am met Bri and Lee,Lee was a bit worse for were LOL ant way sea look
spot on but the wind was a pain. made our way down to the beach loads
of other anglers there got our spot got set up and in the water it went fished
3 hours down not a bite and fish the tide in to top of the water 7pm still not
a bite only fish took was a rockling lol by lee seen one cod landed by another
lad along the beach but that was it pack in at 7pm taking to a few locals and
they say other marks had gone quiet.

Still nee cod/codling this year but it was a good laugh and a canny trip away
look forward to the next trip cheers lads.

hard line lads all the fish thats been taken over the week down there was hopping you would catch some canny cod well at least lee did'nt blank and a canny day out  :RK222:

Think everyone struggled down there yesterday Ed ain't seen many good reports on the Holderness site.

Yip poor day for the Fish,but canny day out all the same....Think the big tides and bit swell has the opposite effect on fishing to up here,seems the fish were there on smaller tides and flat seas :(

It was a very canny day apart from the lack of fish showing up.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

2011 SPECIES CAUGHT:  Coalie x3(biggest 33.5cm), Rockling x6, Blenny x1, Flounder x1, Whiting x1
