just got  a mti rodrest feels nice and heavy hope it wont blow over has any body got 1 and what your veiws in strong winds with it etx  :THRD:

look canny tripods, im after a new tripod was thinking of the shakespeare salt 1 or maybe getting the leg locking kit for my ian golds 1? might even get a mti as i felt 1 before and felt very strong had a bag with it aswell what does everyone else use? only thing im not liking with the salt is that it has telescopic legs might make it abit weak

i have a shakespeare salt tripod great rod stand but has blown over  a few times fits in the boot easy just wanted some thing a bit stronger next windy nights fishing with my mti will soon find out :fish: thx lads

evening lads most tripods will blow over in bad side winds , get a bungee n attach 2 top ov rod rest then 2 box or rucksack save s a fortune in rings    :YHMAN: :YHMAN:
