Hendon Fishquay 9/1/11
« on: January 10, 2011, 08:58:00 am »
Me,Keith and Sam arrived at the fishquay about 2.30.Glass centre side was packed with fishermen so we considered ourselves lucky as there were  on 2 other blokes fishing our side and they were right in the corner. I managed a small coalie ,lovely clean fish about 9 inches long and a rockling.Keith managed a small yting about 6 inches long and unlucky for Sam he blanked.Although he blanked Sam had some cracking knocks but didn't manage to convert any of them. Bait used on the day was rag, lug, macci, bluey, mussel, squid and fresh prawn.
Unfortunately no cod or sized yting showed there face but on a brighter note we did see an otter,2 swans and 2 rats so it wasn't a wasted day.Left about 9pm.
Better luck next time Sam
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

The thing that was really odd Eddie mate was there was no sign of any flatties at all to break the bordom.
