Some people pay 1.50 a piece off a few local diggers doubt i'd be willing to pay it unless fishing a competition,then again theres a place over west coast you can dig a few bigguns whilst digging the luggies.

The price of silvers are ridiculous , a walk along bartrams a few year back and ya could get 100 a tide , but like every thing else a shortage pushes the price sky high

Never heard of shops selling them , i suppose if you the shop owner manager what ever , you would keep them for yourself

i would pay the same as i do for blacks,hence why i have never used them in a long time as noone will drop there prices :laugh20:

I dont think they are underated , top bait for tipping of , sometimes means the difference between  missed bite or the fish on , but very hard to come by

Dug out down here Tony lucky to find one more than 6 ins and hard graft digging mussel beds between the rocks

I will not buy them but if i get a few when digging then i will keep them as long as i can.

I know a canny spot to dig them as well.

Dont think it is anymore john,used to get some bigguns in the wear just outside the glasscentre,big blows as well on a huge tide,same here gone............as bait gets less and less,probs see the price of other baits go through the roof

someone told me there used to be some canny bass there as well.

marsden used to hold some big whites i was fishing along side a bloke who had some whites frm there a while back they were all about 9 or 10 ins long but only small stuff there now so i have heard

white worm or white magic as rightly named is very easy to keep which makes it invaluble to me,just take a handful dwn and if nowt doing with lug baits start tipping off with whites and the magic starts, comes well into its own jan and feb.
