going to have a ride up Amble way tomorrow,,i know where one or two marks are,,anyone got any ideas,,south of amble,,cheers..
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.

not sure up there davy,given the conditions i would be looking for a bit of depth in water,might pay to ask the question on NESA,good luck mate hope you get something

well...got to amble about 9,,went to the tackle shop to pick some ragworm up as i only had frozen bait,,some of the best worm i"ve had,top quality,,went to the pier 1st off as there was 1-2 codling taken last night,,not for me though,one decent knock and that was it,,i"d missed my chance,,decided to go down to low hauxley to fish the scarrs,,not a touch baits coming back in as they went out,,1st time i"d fished there so did not really know how to fish it,got talking to a fella up there and he reckons its best fished 2 down and 2 up so that knacked me straight away as i had ran out of bait and was just about to leave,,will definatley try hauxley again as the place is spot on,, a bit of everything sand, rocks, kelp and its pretty deep,,just that theres no fish but its like that everywhere at the minute,,will be back up there after the next big stir up..cheers..

Cracking report there Davey and i agree with the other lads, it looks a lovely spot to fish.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.
