i remember wen we had passes 4 docks wen security drove landrovers ,afta hours it was poss 2 cadge a lift frm wash end 2 the lane 4 a fish or 2 ! happy days !   we often only fished with 2 3/0 vikings cos if conditions wer rite double shots wernt uncommon . sewercorner monsanta thelane tommys steps moby dick pensioners, the mixer ,  spikey island dropdown lowdrum  , bartrams , n/e suicide, high drum,   n e 1 remember ?

merry xmas to all  ! i only started to have a good catch rate down there wen i teamed up with kilty who explained y he cud adecent bag regardless of conditions . once we went down on adying sea i chanced suicide n scrambled onto h/ drum mick on ramp ( s/pier) straight away  i got 1 4 lb twenty min later 1 about  8 (pb at time) i lost the tide an hour l8r , so no more fish . spotted mick cumin back along i was itchin to show off (not often u get to beat him, he climbed onto drum and i started waving me fish in his face ! :PTTT:  we fished 4 a bit longer 4 nowt then called it a nite as we hurried along suicide he picked up his f/bag (old string laundry bag x pit  tipping out 6 fish ova5lb with 1   12 lb talk about clamped !!!!!!

i remember micky he came down one  day think he was with there lass if i can remember to try a new rod out first cast he had a double figure cod out  on the end of the mixer   same time i had decent one lying on the lane when he walked past

LOL  theres a few down there like that  i  fished pensioners one night kept looking to see anyone was on the steps at the lane a fav mark of mine so after noticing no lights i packed  bait etc up and headed  there to find tommy-g fishing the spot  a thought sure he wont mind me fishing here too   put me rod on me stand to bait up   this is what i got  PMSL   :AWW: ffs all the barstard places to fish on here  ya have to come fish next to me  arrgghhhhh!    swear swear words etc   i moved further round   i did apoligise afterwards he even offered me a mint   nice man  also likes to be on hes own  :laugh20:

tommy used 2 turn out wen we wer cumin off he luv steps by the way the steps r named afta tommy nesbitt not t/g acracking angler who ilearnt alot frm b4 i started match fshing  .the same man used 2 ride to boulmer in winter  on a honda 90 steppy 2 dig bait !!!!!!!!!!!! middle o winter !!!!!!!!!
