Parrot takes the dosh.
« on: December 23, 2010, 09:08:16 am »
There was a few fishing last night and only 2 lads weighed in one with a 9oz flatty and dave with a dab 11oz and the winning fish a flatty 12oz most fished the pier and never had a bite me and Dave fished the the old north pier and a few others fished rock marks.

Weather condition where canny bad with wind coming from the north/north east
very strong at times as well but all the lads stuck it out.

Well done Dave on taking the pot.  :up22:

Dab was deffo 11oz mate.

As I say eddie I could have swore the bag weight was 1lb 6oz not 1lb 7.
Which fish was actually weighed individually? (I don't actually remember, I wrote it in the book but don't recall off hand, I assumed it was the flounder), I know only 1 of the 2 fish was weighed individually tho.

I bet smackheads don't argue over 1 oz as much as anglers lol

EDIT - was along Morrisons earlier so popped in and checked, the flounder was weighed at 12oz and bag weight was 1lb 6oz mate, the dab possibly was originally 11oz but not at the weigh in it wasn't.
