Well gents decided to fish for a few hours to use up my spare bait.Got there at 10.00 and it was chuffing freezing.1st cast got a flattie and a non flattie whiting  :lol2: together(2 hook flapper rig used).Had lots of bites thoughout the day as the tide came in.Fished til 2.30 and managed 3 flatties and 4 whiting in total so not a total loss, was worth braving the cold just for the sport.No cod showed but wasn't expecting any.

good mark on its day so big coddys have been took there.

I reckon after a good storm at sea it would be a cracking mark for cod that have come into the river mate.

Some of the lads cast along side the deep quay where the ships moor.

Ahh,, the 'Boars Head' !!  as the mark is known

Aye as eddie said lot of lads cast into the deeper channel, it shelves up really quickly in-front of there as there is no dredging at all where the river narrows
