Had some bait left over from last night so headed down whitburn to use it up
waste of time bait coming in like it went out there was another lad there he
had been down since 1pm his bait was coming back the same as well. i got down
about for 2pm and called it a day about 6.30pm it was very cold tonight colder than
last night any way still enjoy the few hours out just a shame there wasn't even a coalie
about to save me blank.  :lol2: thats me till Wednesday back to the drawing board.

Lasted longer than me Ed, lasted 2 hrs an me toes were dropping off, couple off rattles on me first cast probs billet or flaties but I had a big hook an bait on so no connection, after that baits untouched.Got back home around 5 the temp was -6 so the best of luck to anyone venturing out tonight. :up22:But atleast I got out :fish:

Aye it was cold Trev the water on the beach was freezing up the dog had dug a few hole witch filled up with water and froze lol so did my bait.

Had the feeling I was fishing fresh water tonight Eddie, same colour as comes out the gare on a big run off need to find a spot away from the Tees but the roads are sh#te anyway atleast yer bait will last a bit :lol2:

When it goes to jelly freeze it mate in cling film and either tie on frozen or cotton it on to you're gripper. Be suprised at the results.Specialy when the fishings hard.

I am sure you have booked a trip to norway eddie and your getting plenty practice in to adapt to the climate,you will be starting to look like jack frost.
Unlucky mate always going to be difficult with that sea been flat,lets hope we see a few fish next week,i wil be out trying my xmas presents out..........................................................................ferking pair of socks :YHMAN:

Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

2011 SPECIES CAUGHT:  Coalie x3(biggest 33.5cm), Rockling x6, Blenny x1, Flounder x1, Whiting x1

One knows that one is getting on a bit but if ones memory serves one well one does believe that whiting do not quality as a 'flatty' unless driven over by an 8 tonne road roller. :cm1: :cm1: :cm1: and if ya were fishing a comp any size whiting is better than no size no show codling  :YHMAN: :YHMAN:
