Tip Lights

What are your thoughts of the aforementioned.

 I like them ( for the brightness  and the help in bite detection ). BUT you have to keep checking that the line is not wrapped around it. Ordered some mighty brite tip tap to see what it's like on the end of the international match.

reflective tape,even the dimmest headlights will light it up,but florescent tip lights do the job,but try and keep it slimline as your line can wrap around especially in darkness....

Aye they are a shipping hazard tho they are that bright, Dave has been using 'em since,, well,, he started fishing I think.

Personally I'm fed up of proper tip lights rusting, dropping to bits and generally being (*&^ so I'm going to buy some snap lights in bulk and use them instead in glo-bug holders.

i just wait till lidl has the small snap lights in and buy 4 boxes , does me for a year or two normally but the last ones i got 2 years ago will see me through till next winter and more with not being able to fish  :(

the good thing is they also fit my night float rigs for coarse fishing  not that i can do that ether  :bang:

got some isotopes,,not the best but good enough,,dont get line wrapped round as much as i have them whipped on..
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.

i put mine on with sellotape  going above and below so line can not wrap round it and if it does it just cuts through and light just falls off
