Very cold club comp.

Only 9 turned up for tonight's comp me and Dave headed for the tyne
canny move cos i got the winning fish 1lb 3oz in fact the only fish. it was hard
going with that wind making it even colder than it was.

never fished this mark on the tyne before but will be giving it a go again Dave will tell the
name i cant remember still trying to warm up LOL its just before the ferry landing.

Well done on the cod Ed cold night to fish mate was bad enough yesterday so top marks to the 9 who turned out :up22:

well done lads :up22:,difficult night for fishing.....any colder and you would have had to cut through the ice on the river

Well done on ya catch mate and 10/10 for everyone who braved the baltic conditions.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

Dave's worms were starting to freeze started to laugh went in me bucket and mine were as well
LOL.

Left the fish on the side next to me box when we finished i went to put it in the bag and it was frozen mad.

I had that last week mate, live ragworm were starting to freeze after an hour.I ended up having to wrap them in my spare thermal pants to keep them alive.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

its called " the spirit of the tyne" i think,,i was told it was Brigghams old dock,,pretty deep water so seems to hold the fish,,well done eddie lad,,1 bite,,1 fish,,comp won again,,ya"ll be getting barred before long,,hahaha..
should have been here yesterday,,hahaha.
