A good cast an it'll probably be a 4 piece : whistle might be alright with a f/s on macky bashing.

I know a couple of lads who fish with shakespeare rods in the same price range,which are fine for where they fish and the type of fishing they do, but for casting any serious weight or yukking thro roughish ground I don't think they're any good.IMO.
