Have you not filled the grit box like Tony :HPY2:

he just gets ashes out of the fire box in his car if the snow gets too thick for grip chris

remember he has a citroen supakettle 2002 model with the high capacity steam boiler

got stuck in fulwell for ninety minutes Tony,thats the main drag,sea road and all other roads off there,all vehicles getting stuck,no grit down,the snow fell and turned to sheets of black ice,virtually impossible to drive on,rest of sunderland aint much better

I was driving past the grit mound at the old Sunderland power station site couple of weeks ago thinking they haven't bothered stocking up ffs, Sunderland Council must still believe in Global Warming, every other council has stockpiled the stuff just incase
