Take it to a shop and ask them have a look at it and see how much it will cost to get fixed.

or one of the lads might be able to fix it.

might be something daft,check that one of your magnets has not fell off into the spool,they often come off and has the effect your talking about,if it has superglue it back in to its mounting...........other than that,if its screaming when your casting check your spool,spindle and bearings are as they should be..............Which parts on the reel did you grease

its the gears bent out of shape and had it apart and it looks like something has snapped on the driveshaft.So i am going to bin it and start saving for another slosh,or i might try and get aOKUMA Magnetex or whatever there are called :ash22:

Keith mate....drop it off tomorrow and i'll have a look at it mate.

All of the spare parts are available and they aren't expensive.

should not make your reel scream when casting if its the gears,as you disengage the gears when you cast...which bit has snapped on the driveshaft,the spindle itself wont have snapped,as dave said parts are available :up22:
