I've just been down Seaham front and also the beginning of the pier and the swell is excessively large and there was about 6 blokes fishing the start of the pier.Rather them than me :cm1:
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

Fished Saltburn pier tonight from about half three, managed to hold the bottom ok.Couple of early knocks so I thought this is going to fish come dark o'clock, then the wind picked up and the swells started to increase by five I was onto a 7oz gripper and the swells were starting to come within a couple of foot of the boards time to go said Trev the fish can wait for another day.

Hammering in S.Easterly down here with a S/E swell not nice conditions be a few days before it's fishable in all but most places.Would think a few of the low water rock marks will fish like, might be worth a look at that swimming pool scaur at Tynemouth Ed.
