Seaham Today
« on: November 07, 2010, 08:28:43 pm »
Well gents myself and Keith(Ellis995) hit Seaham from 12.15 today, sea was well coloured and swell was approx 6 to 8ft.Bites were few and far between to kick off with but at about 3.30 i got a cracking bite, hit it on the second take and in she came. A lovely CODLING 38cm long and weighing in at 1 and 3/4lb. Keith missed a couple of good bites but it was difficult to work out what was a bite with the strength of the breakers. I also had a whiting just under size and a coalie just under size. Both safely returned to the water. All in all was a cracking day, was a shame keith drew a blank but there is always next time.

Just to round off my report........GET MY NAME ON THE COD LIST .... :cm1: :cm1:

I did say the wolf was on the prowl for fish

Dave
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

2011 SPECIES CAUGHT:  Coalie x3(biggest 33.5cm), Rockling x6, Blenny x1, Flounder x1, Whiting x1
