International paints the tyne
« on: November 07, 2010, 06:24:25 pm »
Fished here today with Skiny and eddie, very very hard work, not a lot of fish about, not so much flood water coming down, but still a lot of fine weed in the water which caused problems on the shockleader knots,no probs with holding the bottom, just not a lot of fish about, managed one sized codling for me and a fluke coalie which took my bait down the side when i was cleaning weed of the shocker knot.........New mark for me and will be back there again in the future..........not many fish to show for our efforts, but worth being out just for the craic........Skiny is mad as a hatter and eddie is bordering on the insane......class...............Parrot turned up for a bit craic, had been down to Hebburn and there were a few fish showing up there....................Skiny has the pic of the cod,so cant add it to the cod challenge until he posts it...
Looking forward to a bit of beach fishing next few days when the seas away :up22:
