6 of us fished from 7pm till 11.30pm 2 undersize cod 1 sized whiting and 1 sized flounder there was a big fish out there as l had it all the lads shouted go on jimmy as my rod went down one hell of a bite started reeling in the fish kept on trying to go down rod was going ballistick then about 20yards off it went down could not get it to pull out let loads of slack line off rod was still bouncing away just would not pull out so tryed a gentle pull on line then it happened line snapped line was all chaft must of been rubbing against something on bottom plenty of small bites after that used rag and lug and pully rig well cant say l dont try well thats it till sunday shields open but big quest is were to fish any idea's could do with some help  :RK222:

Good report and unlucky with the big fish. I had 1 of those on saturday night,nearly took my beachcaster off the tripod. Good luck for the open on sunday.

unlucky on the fish jim,sea is set to come away for Sunday which will hopefully give you a bit more choice......good luck :up22:
