Well gents, i've sat for 2 hours this afternoon and made up some rigs...Just hope i have used the right hook sizes.
Anyone can fish......It's Catching them that's the hard part.

Well gents, i've sat for 2 hours this afternoon and made up some rigs...Just hope i have used the right hook sizes.
should not be far wrong with 2/0  or 3/0,sea picking up now and dropping off tomorrow,might be the chance of a codling or two,if not the coalies/whities should be there

Tell me if these sound ok gents. This is what i have made up.....
Pennel rig with top slidey down hook, top hook 2/0 main hook 3/0,
 pennel pulley with 2/0 hook,
 paternoster clip down rig 2/0 hook.
and for the big monster thats out there a pennel slidey hook with 2/0 top hook and 5/0 main hook. And i have been all professional and put them on my new set of tronix rig spools,labelled them and put them back in the new tronix box.........Is this bit a little to anal?

Gonna get some more bits and pieces in the morning when i go for my bait and make up some more. Any rigs you reckon i should have a go at making up eddie mate...I find it very theraputic. :laugh20:

Just make the same ones as ya already made Dave thats all i use pulley rigs lol or and a few 2 or 3 hook flappers for river of scratching.

I'm doing the weight trace about 24" long and snoods about 21" long.Does that sound about right mate. Gonna make a few more so i can get my new rig box full....ffs...that sounds so sad :cm1:

And Eddie mate can we have ageordie avatar,smiley thing for this lone geordie  :cm1:

Answer to Q,1  yes mate they sound ok for fishing beaches but if ya fishing rocky ground shorten the the length of the trace.

Camera already in my bag mate. I wanna be fishing and have my line in the water for 6pm so i get my mark....coz i did ok there the last 3 times i have fished it......this time is cod catchy time..HT is 9.30 pm so i'm gonna have line and bait in the water til about midnight.
